Cracked Lava looks like exactly what its name promises: a black anodized case split by branching veins of orange and red, as if heat were breaking through the surface. Every case is handmade using a custom anodization process, so the branching pattern on yours is unique, and each piece in this limited edition run carries its own version of the design.

The drama does not get in the way of the work. The vented lid carries ventilation slots to keep air moving through the enclosure, the top leaves the GPIO header exposed for your projects, and the openings line up with the USB and Ethernet ports on the Raspberry Pi 5. Underneath, the aluminum base pairs the same branching artwork with four screws holding everything together.
